President’s message:
Hello Everyone Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family. The weather has become more winterishs Not used to the 20 degree morning temps. It makes taking out the trash much more distastefull. Going to get the mail is another frigid experience. Be thankful if your mail gets delivered right to you porch, it’s a long walk to the road, and can be treacherous if ice is on the driveway. I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday season. Gathering with friends and family is always so nice when the house is all decorated for the holidays. Now that our cars are resting in the cool of the garage, plan on coming to the Christmas party. You can talk with other old car owners who might have the answer to a problem you might be having. As you know we are always looking for more volunteers to work at the Swap Meet. We need members to watch the doors while the vendors are setting up. We need members to check to make sure those attending have paid and gotten their hand-stamped. So if you want to help give Peggy Kelly a call. The more help we get the less each person is responsible for. So come out and help.Do you have die hard Mopar Friends? Are they looking for social connections with other Mopar Friends invite them to join our club. We can always use a few new members. The Christmas party is coming up on 12-10-23. It is again at the Gazebo in New Warrens, corner of 13 mile Rd and Mound. As you know the food is fabulous. I hope to see you all there. If you have been reading the National magazine you know the National meet is going to be in Windsor, Ontario. If you don’t have a passport you can apply for an enhanced driver’s license. It should not take as long to get like it would if it were a passport. Our own Kevin McCabe is in charge of putting it together so rest assured, it will be a good show and well organized.See you at the Christmas party. Happy MotoringSusan
